|Starkey Town Board Meeting, Thursday, July 9th - 7 PM
The next Town of Starkey Board Meeting is an eventful evening in our long journey toward a local zoning law that will effectively eliminate fracking from the Town of Starkey. A public hearing will be held on the 9th of July at the Starkey Town Hall, 40 Seneca St. at 7:00 PM. Following the public hearing it is believed that the Town Councilmen will approve the zoning law changes.
The Starkey Town Board and the Starkey Planning board have composed a zoning code that will effectively protect all of Starkey's citizens from unwanted heavy industrial activity, including fracking.
Starkey Citizens for a Clean and Healthy Environment is grateful for your long support of this effort.
This is extremely important to our town as the "State Ban" is fragile and, could change at any time with the political winds.
Please attend the Starkey Town Board Meeting - Thursday, July 9th at 7 PM to show support for the proposed law and to celebrate with us the conclusion of this lengthy effort to protect the Town of Starkey.
